Suddenly my 2002 Axiom CD changer/player appears to have completely failed.
CD button on dash does nothing. (Tape and AM/FM work fine)
CD disk pack will not eject using eject button.
Likely an electrical issue. I checked the fuses and tried to see if I could manually eject using a paper clip in the small hole near the eject button such as I might to with a PC CDplayer.
Player was working just perfectly yesterday with the disks in it now so unlikely that anything is "stuck" or CDs inserted incorrectly.

Any ideas?

Further research lead to Edmunds.com where I found the tip to remove fuse with key off for 10 min or so and then replace leaving key off. My CD changer then started cycling and the EJECT button worked just fine. Apparently the CD controller needed to reconfigure itself.

Just to expound on this, the 15amp fuse for the radio must be removed for at least a minute to get it to reset. It's also possible to do this by disconnecting the battery ground for the same period of time. Removing the fuse is easier obviously.
