I have a 1992 Isuzu amigo 2.6 Fuel Injected 144K miles.

After the motor warms up and I'm coming to a stop while in neutral (stick shift) the idle surges. Meaning, if there was a rpm gauge it would go from 1k to 1.2k to .9k to 1.2 to 1K and so on and so on... until after bouncing up and down a few times it then smooths out.

I took it to a mechanic and he cleaned the throttle body, found a vaccum leak, re-adjusted my timing and raised the idle a little by adjusting the throttle cable. It helped with a stalling issue when cold, but the surging did not go away at all.

Any ideas if this part would help..? Or if not any ideas..?? Many thanks in advance for any input..!!
