I have a 1996 Amigo. Recently the dash lights went out. The lights for the electric windows in the console still come on as they should, as do all of the other lights. No fuses are blown. About a week later, still have the dash light problem, I went to start it and it was completely dead. Not even the idiot lights came on when I turned the key. But I turned the key back, tried again and it started and worked perfectly. Next, the gas gauge stopped working, going all the way to E, even though I had filled it with gas the day before. Shortly after this, it wouldn't start. It would crank and had other electrical functions. A friend asked about a bad ground in the dash, as it has the little soft top. Thoughts? Anyone have any of these symptoms?
