With the new issue that I now have, has anyone else suffered a knock that starts around 2000 r.p.m.'s and wont stop until its back to idle? Im just wondering what anyone has found to be the problem? (bearing? seals? etc.)

A knock. I wish it was as light as a click. I can put my hand on the valve cover and rev the motor and feel it. I did hope at first it was just the common lifter clicking. But no.

If the timing belt tensioner goes bad (which is common) it can sound alot like a rod knock. Gets misdiagnosed alot. Could be a rod knock though.

Default Timing belt stretched or bad tensioner

I agree with the guy about the timing belt tensioner and what will happen next is your timing belt will go through the timing belt cover so check it out I know this from experience
