I'm new to the forum, but I was hoping someone could help me out. My wife has a 2002 Trooper. I got in the car today and when I accelerated from a stopped position it would jerk forward. Almost like it was skipping a gear. I know that isn't much information, but I don't know how else to describe it. Has anyone heard of that happening? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

proably low on transmission fluid,look underneath on the passenger sie an see if there is any fluid around the frt drive shaft,or near the right side exhaust.if so the accumulator piston cover seal is leaking.dont worry its inexpensive if you catch it early
