I have got a 2000 trooper with a cracked block (from lack of oil) I pursched the vehicle for 500.00 dollars, I have a 3.5L DI engine everything that I have measured is the same except the oil pump and the way the engine oil the heads on the DI it has a passage from the pump to the heads and on the reg 3.5L it oils through #1 journal, Does anybody know if this will work by using the 3.5L DI block with the 3.5L oil pump, and installing the reg 3.5L heads. Also the only diff in the head gaskets it the thickness of the gasket everything else is the same.
