torsion bars

I would like to replace the stock 190k mile torsion bars on my trooper with some stronger newer bars. I would like to gain a inch or inch or 2 of lift in the process, can anyone recommend a good replacement torsion bar to use? And if so from which vehicle because I cant find any isuzu up here at any local used parts yards. I have heard that the Torsion bars from a Chevy Colorado would work but im not sure, Any help would be appreciated

ok well no reply's on original post, so Ill try this. Does anyone know the procedure for tweaking the torsion bars for 1 or 2 inches of lift? I know they are under alot of pressure so I'm sure the first thing would be to take the weight off the torsion bars by jacking up the front of the vehicle, after that I have no clue. Has any one done this before to get a little lift? I would like to level the factory stance.thanks

t/bars

calmini and sway a way make the bars ....around $450 depending on the year...getting the extra... crawl under and tighten the bars..it will be easier if the front end is lifted ...measure both sides before you tighten the bars ....calmini also makes the rear springs which are great ..not to expensive and easy to install ...if you go that route you will want to look into a little longer rear shockabout an inch or 2 max ....with the t/bars tightened and the 2 inch rear spring you will be able to put 32 inch with no problems ..it will actually take longer to take the wheel and shock off the rear then to install the spring...t/bars are 5min unless the bolts are rusted ... you will want to get an alignment..it makes a big difference on the trail ...
