real performance
well you could open up the exhaust and install a high flow air filter. that's what most people do and they claim it adds a noticeable amount of power but i think it just makes more noise. i won't lie i do the same thing but don't expect it to increase your horsepower by a monumental amount. if you want real power gains you won't find them at autozone...unless they have a blown 527 behind the counter.
open up the exhaust, replace the muffler with a magnaflow or something to that effect. some people swear by throttle body spacers and you can probably find one of those on four wheel parts or another performance parts site. but i would start with the exhaust.
