HELLO TO EVERYONE I JUST BOUGHT A 1994 TROOPER I LOVE THE TRUCK 2 PROBLEMS, LIFTERS KNOCKING, AND MOST IMPORTANT I CAN NOT FIND THE PROBLEM WITH THE GAS MILAGE ITS GIVING ME 7 G/M THAT REALLY SUCKS. I HAVE CHANGED, SPARK PLUGS, ALL THE FILTER (AIR, GAS, OIL) AS WELL AS THE OXIGEN SENSOR, CAN ANY BODY PLEASE HELP ME OUT WHY THE POOR GAS MILEGE.

1.IS the truck running rich(black/dark smoke from exaust)2.Have you looked under truck while the engine is running to look for leaks from fuel lines.3.Has the truck been modified (bigger tires /engine mod).If not it might be a stuck fuelinjector,the simple and cheapest is try "Seafoam fuel cleaner"sold at most auto parts stores.I would use two cans- one in the fuel tank, and half a can in intake- instructions are on the can.Good luck.
