Motor Temp Sensor for your '92

dakota40 - Here are some possible options for your '92 3.2L.

First, we need to clarify by "Motor Temperature Sensor" in your post if you mean the Engine Coolant Sensor (which sends engine coolant temp to the computer and probably sits on top of your intake manifold) or if you mean the engine operating temperature sensor (better known as a temperature sending switch which probably sits in one of the heads on a 3.2 I suspect and sends the engines temp to your temperature gauge, assuming yours is a gauge and not an idiot light. Both, btw, may be the same PN).

If we assume the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor, you might try:

www.Rockauto.com - Under '92 Trooper S 3.2L, under Emissions, lists an AC Delco Part#213192 {#25037334} and lists for $25.79 Photo.

My Bud down at the local NAPA gave me these two NAPA part numbers:

This one is for the Engine Coolant Sensor (the one in the intake sensing for the computer): PN = TS4052SB. About$12.00.

and this one for the Engine Temperature Switch (the one sensing for your temperature gauge) PN = TS6035SB. About $15.00.

He had both in stock.

There may also be differences in part numbers if this is a single or double OHC engine (thought unlikely). We entered 'unknown' into the parts computer and it gave us these two numbers above.

You should be able to pick these up at your local NAPA Parts Dealer or if you use the links in the PNs above, you should be able to order them directly on line.

Hope this helps ya. Let me know.

Note: the Engine Coolant Sensor probably sits atop the intake manifold and has a oval shaped connector. The Engine Temperature Switch is probably just a simple flat m/f connector on a head.
