Hey everyone. I''m pretty new here and I originally put this in the general tech forum, but obviously I think this gets a lot more traffic. Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated.....


I was wondering if someone could help me out. My wife left her windows down during a rain storm (she has a 2001 trooper) and her window won''''t roll up anymore. I pulled out the master switch on the driver''''s side window and it has corrosion from water damage. When i looked at the switch the part number was 897153-0061 so I went online to try to find a used one to buy. I saw one saying it will work on 2001 troopers, but the part number is 897122-8491. Can someone tell me if this will still work on my wife''''s trooper. I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I want to make sure before I buy it. Thanks in advance for any help.....

Have the seller email you a picture of the switch or they may be able to tell you if they are similar for certain years.
