How big of rims will fit 00 trooper???
 

Hi, i just bought an 00 trooper bout a month ago and i love it but so far been nothing but trouble. The trannys going out, the engine started knocking, abs, engine, and tranny lights are on, horrible mpg, electrical just went haywire last night and the list goes on and on....so im selling it and my question is, my tires are shot and i need to replace them before selling, well it will cost about $700 for new tires and i have a friend selling some 22" wheels with new tires for $500! So im thinking that would raise the value a bit (for a younger guy) and save me money, I know 22" wheels fit because i have seen pics with people that have them but i wanna know about these exact wheels. The tires are 265/35/r22. Thanks for any help!!

Also what about a 275/40/20? I just dont really understand what the numbers mean.

Daniel: Sell it as-is. Changing tires/wheels won't help. Re: 275/40-20: 275 is the tire section width in millimeters (OEM 245)/ 40 is the aspect ratio, tire diameter vs tire width (OEM 45) and 20 (OEM 16) is wheel size. Don't give the buyer more problems to deal with.

You would have to do a lift to get 22s under don't waste your time
