Engine codes??? '94 Trooper
 

I have a '94 with about 230,000 miles. 3.2L V6, 5-speed manual.

Lately, when I'm on the highway the vehicle will start to run really rough. I loose RPMs, and the engine sounds like it's gasping for fuel or air. After about a minute, it starts running normally again - then the engine light turns on.

I read the code - it's 1,2,1,2,1,2 4,4,4,4,4,4. I have no idea what this means! Does anyone have knowledge or reference material available to tell me where I should be looking?

BTW - I've changed the oil, oil filter, plugs, fuel filter and cleaned the EGR valve in the last two weeks, but the problem persists.

For the benefit of those looking at this thread in the future, I found the codes are actually 12, 12, 12, 44, 44, 44.
This appears to indicate a bad 02 sensor.

I've got one on order, hopefully that will solve my issue.
