Coolent into the head?

Ok first of all, thank you to all who have helped me with my recent issues with my trooper.

Now heres one for you, i was finally able to get my trooper running. But now the issue is, How do i get engine coolent into the head in the new engine? Is there a way to prime the head before starting it? The top radiator hose to the thermostat is dry. And what is the best head gasket sealant out there to use?

wait, you wanting a head gasket sealant? dude, you are suppose to replace the head gasket when you pull the head off the block, not reuse the old one. as for the coolant for the head, the coolant will run in there when you go to start the motor, the water pump will move the coolant in there and when the temperature gets to the point it needs to then the thermostat will open and send the coolant out of the block back into the rad where it will cool it off to be reran back through the system.

but keep a mixed bottle of coolant near by as you will have air bubbles in your coolant system.
