DOES ANYBODY KNOWS WHAT IS A CODE 32?


CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON ON MY 1991 TROOPER AND I GOT 3 FLASHES - PAUSED - 2 FLASHES.


I WILL APPRECIATE ANY HELP.

if I remember correctly, code 32 is an EGR temp sensor code


with temp at 68f sensor resistance should be 12k


with temp at 109f sensor resistance should be 6k





as temp goes down, resitance goes up


as temp goes up, resistance goes down

code 32 is an egr code, you have one of 2 problems, either no vaccum to erg valve or something that was common on 3.1l v6 was the egr port in the heads would get clogged, you need to close the valve with your hand and see in the engine tries to die while running if not take the intake off and clean the port, if it does try to stall ck the vaccum to the valve

 

I have this one as well. Where exactly is the EGR valve on a 92 Trooper? Pretty sure I know what it would look like but want to make sure I'm not screwing with the wrong component.
