[img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img] I hate the release requirement for the rear door. I have a 1999 Trooper and have had the latch that holds the rear door open, bent four times by people who are not aware of having to release the door.


Has anyone seen any aftermarket solutions? I would love to see some sort of hydraulic door holder versus the mechanical latch that is there.

 

I have no Idea, if your needs are so bad you could try to adapt a hydraulic shock to where the latch points attatch.
