I'm in the middle of a rebuild 3.2L 94 trooper,blew a head gasket so here I am.
took heads in to get checked, turned out intake rocker shafts had severe wear do to oil injector ports being clogged. The mehanic said this was common problem in these motors. When I picked up the heads he told me to change oil more frequently and it should not happen again.
Should have it running this weekend.

I have the issue now My 95 trooper ticks( 280,000mi).. I had the outer lifters changed and it made it little quieter I am thinking of trying the draining the oil thing1st then changing the rest of the lifters and rocker arms but with 280,000 it may be best to put another engine in. anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks
