Hanging wire by transfer case - 1991 Trooper LS
Working on the truck yesterday I noticed (and hadn't seen this before) a wire that is hanging down on the drivers side by the transfer case. Black wire with what looks to be some sort of connector (about a 2" long metal sleeve that slides back over what looks to be a connector to plug into something - single female end on the connector)
Anyone have any ideas what this might be?
Cheers,
Scott
PS: will try and get a better photo

Updated photo.
Finally getting back to this project.
So does anyone have any ideas what this thing is hanging, and where it is suppose to go?
1991 Trooper LS, 2.8L V6, automatic.
Thanks folks.

Hanging wire
Its for sure the O2 sensor connection- should be a nubby little spark plug-like thingie in the exhaust manifold it plugs into. " Check engine" light will be on I imagine.........(I think....)
