93 Trooper
 

Need some help please..I just swapped engines in my Trooper.Engine runs great,idles fine, everything seems to be good to go..Untill I try to test drive it..I put it in reverse, back up with out any issues,switch to drive and the engine dies..Start it back up ,put into drive and again the engine dies..Start it up again and put the trans in low gear and i am able to move forward untill I put it in 2nd .the engine dies again..To some it up ,reverse and low gear the engine is fine,2nd,3rd, and drive the engine just shuts off..Any hlp will be greatly appreciated..Thanks in advance..Ed

What engine and transmission?

Sorry I should have mentioned that before..It had a 3.2 sohc 6cyl and I put the same size engine back in..As for the treanny,I think it is the original 4wd auto tranny that came in the trooper..Any help is greatly appreciated.

are the 95 3.2L motors interference engines?
