2002 Trooper loses propulsion (tranny?)
 

· Problem developed over three short drives.
· Everything running fine, then it loses power. Engine continues to run smoothly. Only partially the first time, then completely the final two.
· Transmission fluid level is fine. No apparent leakage and smells fine.
· No warning lights
· Engine does not rev, the vehicle just loses power after warming up.
· Works just after starting up but loses power to nothing after about 2-5 minutes. Engine idles fine and revs if you push the accelerator… just no propulsion.

Start by getting the ECM codes read. Most auto parts stores will do it for free.
