hi my name is David I just but a 1992 Isuzu Trooper with a 5 speed transmission I want to find out if what can be done to fix the starting problem since it takes a very long time for it to start. and the idling is inconsistent.

 

The most common reason your car won't start is a low battery. If you have a battery tester that can measure cranking amps, test your battery to see if it's weak. If you can't test it yourself, you can test the battery indirectly by jump-starting the car.

 

Any ideas on the problem if it acts as though the battery isn't even connected yet you know it's fully charged?
