’97 Trooper Air Conditioning
#1
Hello everyone! I'm new here and very glad I've found this place. Now for you experts out there, I have a question: Something in my air conditioning system leaks under the dashboard on the passenger's side. The fan blows audibly but there is not as much air flowing as there used to be. Do I have some kind of clogged drain? If so, where is it and how can I unclog it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A leak on the passenger side of the dash is usually attributed to a bad heater core. The fluid would be antifreeze if it is the core.
If you are getting plain water dripping, then it is probably condensate from the evaporator core. I don't know where but there could be a drain tube that is pinched or clogged. Just have to look for it. I don't think either complaint would result in less air flow. I would just try cleaning the plenum of leaves, debris etc; to make sure air can get in and look for unhooked cables or connectors to the HVAC units.
One guys opinions.( certainly NOT an expert!)
