the wipers on my wife's rodeo (1999) are acting strange. The are not returning to the rest position and the intermintent wipers are not working. I know that this is probably caused by a control box somewhere. 1 where is the box. 2. does anyone know the actual name and where I can get one. The dealer wants 225.00 for it and would not give me the part number or name. Any help would be appretiated.

Thanks Rich

I have an older Rodeo with the puch button controls. I presume the '99 has the multiple-function stalk. If so, you'll need to replace the combination switch. You can also open up this switch yourself to repair it. I did that with my turn signal switch. But this all requires opening the steering column to extract the switch. I don't know the part number, but you can try searching an after-market online vendor for "combination switch". Try http://www.isuzupartstore.com

I've also done something like yours, I just replaced the GM turn signal switch and it was fixed immediately... With regards to your wiper, I think you have to fix the control box... Good luck...

replaced the alarm control module, take out the glove box and look to the right and you will see it it is gray on most models, or it can be red depends on the options of the vehicle
