Hi, I just purchased a 99 Rodeo LS. There is a pretty good squeak coming from the front end when going over bumpy terrain. Any ideas what it could be? Shocks maybe?

I have the same thing on my passenger side. I have found it coming from the front bumper brackets. If you spray some wd 40 on them and the sqeek goes away thats your problem, if not it can also be the front radiator frame mounts. Look under the font bumper. On each side there will be a bolt coming down through the frame next to the bumper mounts. They will have rubber bump stops on them, give those a spray. You can bounce on the bumper to imitate a bumpy road and that should give you your squeak, Those tend to sqeek as the rubber ages. Let us know what you find. Edited by: Keefbikes
