I have a 1991 rodeo and i have no running lights i had 4 wires from the back of the light switch on the cluster the wires had a short and it melted 4 wires throw out the whole harness. Now this is time consuming and i want to know if i should fix the melted wires in the harness or would it be easier to just run new wires from each corner of the suv and install new switches. Please give me some ideas on this situation im haveing thank you.

Your best bet is to pull a harness out of a junkyard one and replace the whole thing. Who knows what all else you melted in there. Its more trouble then its worth just replacing one wire in the harness and you may have more then 1 that is a problem.
