How hard is it to Replace the Rear Breaks??? Break Drums On a Scale of 1-10

I hate to try to do it myself and then have totake it to the shop.

Drum brakes are a little harder then disk brakes but not very difficult. The hardest part is getting the springs back on. It can take some time to figure out the best way to do it the first time.

Just take your time and pay attention to how things come apart and you should be fine. Having a good manual will help alot.

lol, when I bought my Rodeo I drove it for 3 weeks not knowing my back brakes were not functioning and couldn;t figure out why it would always pull to the left under braking.

Turned out my proportioning valve was blocked and no fluid was going to the rear brakes whatsoever, and all the braking force was going to the front, causing it to pull.

That doesn't really relate to your situation, but since this is a topic about back brakes,I figured I'd share my goofy experience.

Either way though, brake jobs suck no matter what. I hate working on drum brakes.
