Hello, i bought a 2001 rodeo 3.2 4x4 that needs an engine due to a heavy rod knock. just recently i bought a 1999 rodeo ls 3.2 4x4 that runs excellent but sold for parts due to lien on title.i bought them both for a total of $1,600. among other things, i am going to swap the '99 engine to the '01 vehicle. when i looked under the hood of the '99 i realized that it is drive-by-wire and has different looking coil packs. the '01 has an electronic throttle. will i be able to just swap the intakes and/or the coil packs? will the '99 trans bolt on the '01 trans fine and will they be compatible? I'm thankful for any help!
