hello i just bought a 98 rodeo with a 3.2 v6 and i cant shift from park to drive on the shifter...


i can start the truck on park position but cannot transfer then to drive...


what i have to do is put it on neutral and then switch to drive...


does anyone knows about this problem ???

My truck is tricky like that but I have to push the stick all the way to the left then push in the button to shift. Good for security since NO ONE but me can shift out of Drive but something is definitely wrong< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";

My new-to-me 99 Rodeo worked finefor about a week. Now I have to turn the key to the first position toshift out of Park to Neutral to start the engine. Any advice would be appreciated.
