Default checking out a 2000 V6 3.2 Rodeo

I'm looking at purchasing a 2006 Rodeo V6 3.2L 4X4....

I've test-driven the car twice; it gets good reviews, seems pretty solid and in good shape.

Question/observation...since I've driven a Subaru Outback for 6 years the Rodeo obviously handles and feels different. I had it up to 70 on the freeway; between about 60 and 70 when I accelerated there was a slight (2 - 3 seconds) vibration which quickly went away. Is this normal? Hate to think there's problem with the tranny. But it may be just what happens with a 4WD at freeway speed...

also: the ride is obviously different but seems rougher - somewhat bumpy - at freeway speeds. Should this concern me?

Would love any feedback on either/both issues.

It appears that my expected mileage on this would be 17 - 19 city and up to 23 highway...is that your experience?

Thanks,
Tim

the rodeo will definately drive rougher than ur outback because of the straight front and rear axles. it drives like a truck. I dunno what to tell u about the vibration between 60 and 70. maybe a wheel bearing?

thanks for the response...yeah, don't know what to say about the slight vibrato either...it seemed minor...but noticeable. Sheesh, ya just never know with used autos!
