AC and Elec Windows Wont Work At First
Hello All.
I've got a 1999 Rodeo LS. Weird problem started today, When I start the car the Electric Windows won't work and neither will the Air Conditioner.
Then, I turn off the ignition, restart the car and Voila! they work just fine. Any advice on where to start looking for the problem. I'm scratching my head a lot here. And since I live in Phoenix, AZ windows that go down and a working Air Conditioner are a pretty big deal.
Thanks

It's the key! Specifically the key turns thru ON to Start, but doesn't come all the way back to "ON." The starter disengages so there's no grinding, but since "ON" is not really selected the fun stuff like windows and AC aren't powered since that part of the electrical system isn't powered during the start.
Wiggle the key ever so slightly and it "clicks" into the "on" position and everything works fine.
Go figure....
