I bought a '99 Rodeo sport automatic last spring and went to use the 4WD for the first time this year and it doesn't work. I know it worked when I bought and now nothing. The 4WD indicator does not blink it stays solid. I can hear a clicking sound when the 4WD switch is turned on. I am assuming that is the solenoid turning on. From what I have read it sounded like it may be the vacuum actuator. I checked it last night and found there is vacuum on both ports- one side in 2WD and the other side has vacumm in 4WD. I was wondering if there is anything else I should check before buying one. How do you know for sure it is bad. Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks.
