Ppl at 4x4 shops are Heep snobs. If its not a Heep its junk according to them. He''s a dumbass, dont listen to him.
With 1.5" lift it wont effect the CV joints. I have 3" of lift on mine with no problem. You do need to keep a closer eye on the boots to make sure they get replaced if they tear but so far mine have been fine. Yours has hubs instead of drive flanges like mine had so that also helps. I put manual hubs on mine so they dont turn when in 2wd.
The only ppl I know of that have had cv issues have locked front axles and do some pretty hard core wheeling. As with any IFS system, take it easy on the throttle. If the wheels is really spinning in the air then comes down, thats when the cv can break. Will happen with or without a lift.
As Bdizzle said, indy4x is the place to go for Isuzu stuff. Matt is great to deal with, he is pretty busy though so some patience is needed.
