Hi everyone,

I am a newbie here. I own a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo. I live in Costa Rica. Recently my car suffered water damage from Tropical Storm Alma. I am currently working on getting it back up and running. One thing my mechanic has noticed is that many of the parts on this car are not Isuzu parts (for example the engine computer, backup light switch).

Can anyone tell me what electrical part is located under the passenger seat? Some of the wires are ruined from the water (open circuit. That is, they have come off the connector).

I will probably be asking more questions in the future as I continue to get this car back up and running.

I found out that the part is the "ABS Control Unit". They can run around $400 at a parts store. I found one at Ebay for $30.
