96 Rodeo 2WD-Clutch Issues
 

I was searching Google for some info and came across this site. Anyways, My clutch pedal is, for lack of better term, sticking to the floor board, or below the brake pedal, and thus giving me problems whenever I shift/change gears. If I pull on the pedal with my foot, the clutch will return to it's normal position. Could my clutch be going out on me or does it sound like my linkage is wearing out on me?

hey clone...you have a problem with your clutch master cylinder. sounds to me as if your clutch master is low on brake fluid (the only linkage is a connector rod from the pedal to the master). check the master, if it's low on fluid put some more in (i think it's dot3). if it's full i would get down on the floor and push the pedal and see if anything looks peculiar down there. if not you may need to remove the master from the firewall and make sure the linkage isn't binding.
if you can't find the problem someone will surely give other things to check. here's another site that is pretty handy to have in your favorites for isuzu's (rodeo, amigo, and trooper, gen 1,2,3)

more loikely you have either a faulty clutch master cylinder or a failing slave cylinder. However the first thing you check is the fluid. The chances of your hydraulic linkage "wearing out" is pretty slim...

Sorry about the delay of an update. It was the Slave Cylinder. It was leaking fluid underneath the floor board. Problem solved!
