94 rodeo tranny problem
 

Hi I have a 94 rodeo 4wd v6 auto and it is having an issue with the tranny. When started cold, the tranny will "usually" drive fine, when started warm about half the time, increasing with time, the check transmission light comes on and slips bad in D, yet shifts and drives fine when manually shifted (1-2-3) or when you start in 1st and then shift into drive? No codes came up, any ideas? I have already tried a new filter/fluid, old filter was really dirty but fluid was not in that bad of shape.
