Can anyone give me the idle speed for a 3.2 6-cyl automatic, and the proper oil pressure at that idle speed. thx

 

wow,..thats an odd request. I would have to say that information like that should be in a repair manual, if you have one...what makes you ask this question?

 

I am in the process of buying a '93 Rodeo, and I am fortunate enough to be able to drive it for a while first. I have no manual, and I've noticed that the oil pressure drops to about 10-15 psi at an idle of about 750 rpm. I'm just not sure if this is the proper pressure for this rpm...not really an odd question for someone trying to troubleshoot a possible problem. Edited by: dwoody1

 

well, i shouldnt have said odd, sorry...more like unique, and unfortunately, i dont have a reply for you. your best bet would be a dealership...they may just be able to throw you an answer...
