hello,

i am a new member to the site... definitely not new to car forums.

i just found a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport, 4cyl, automatic, 2 door. i need something for winter time because my car sucks in the snow.

anyways, it apparently has a leaky water pump. only 140kms. i did a little research and found out that it has a 2.2L GMC motor. i do realize that it could have been possibly over heated. i figured that it would be easy enough to find a head for if worst came to worst considering i could just probably pull one off a sonoma or s10.

does the 4cyl have a common problem with the head gasket or water pump leaking??? and how are they on fuel???


any help would be great, thank you.
