i dont know if this is asking to much but if
someone has a 2002 isuzu rodeo with a aftermarket cd player would you mind pulling yours out and writing down what color wires on the factory side go to what color on the aftermarket side it would be greatly appreciated and is anyone elses front door speaker wires the same colors? Thanx for any help u can give me |
Heres the factory wire colors for a '99 rodeo, should be the same for yours. For the aftermarket stereo you will have to find the wire colors for it (should be on a label on it) since they arent all the same. switched power - red/yellow constant power - red/white ground - black lights - green/red lights / dimmer - red/green right frt spkr + - green right frt spkr - - grey left frt spkr + - blue left frt spkr - - yellow right rr spkr + - orange/blue right rr spkr - - orange/white left rr spkr + - orange left rr spkr - - white |
hey, where is it that you found your information on the 1999 Isuzu? Because I'm having the same problem with my 1991 and the wiring colors are a little different...I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up even though the colors are similar.

I have a few different manuals for 98+ rodeos so thats where I got the wiring codes from. One has them for earlier models but its kind of confusing. Doesnt say which wires are + or - for the speakers just the colors. Also for some reason they change colors somewhere between the stereo plug and the componant (rear speakers change 4 times). Here is what I could find switched power - Red constant power - Yel lights - Grn/Red lights dimmer - Red/Grn left frt speaker - Grn left frt speaker - Grn/Blk right frt speaker - Blu right frt speaker - Blu/Blk left rr speaker - Lt Grn left rr speaker - Gry right rr speaker - Lt Blu right rr speaker - Pnk Here are the colors after the first step where they change in case it helps any. switched power - Brn/Wht constant power - Red or Red/Wht lights - Grn/Red lights dimmer - Red/Grn left frt speaker - Blu/Yel left frt speaker - Yel right frt speaker - Grn/Gry right frt speaker - Gry left rr speaker - Red/Wht left rr speaker - Wht right rr speaker - Blk/Org right rr speaker - Org Edited by: Gizmo42 |
