It is not my intention to break any rules by posting in multiple forums; however, since my post in PlanetIsuzu, the first I attempted, has gone unanswered for about a week now I suspect it might not be getting any traffic. If I am causing a violation in any way, please advise.

We recently bought a 2002 Rodeo and in most respects we are very pleased with it. An area of concern is that in moderate accelerations I hear a chatter coming from up front somewhere (I like to drive with windows open!). Since with a past vehicle this was evident in turns and had to do with CV joints I listened for any difference between turning and straight forward acceleration, and have heard the chatter in both conditions.

Though this vehicle likes to drink oil more than I would prefer, I keep the levels between half and full.
