1999 spare tire conversion
 

Hello everyone, my first post here, but anyways. My current 1999 rodeo has the spare tire mounted on the bottom, and im curious as if it was possible to convert it to having it mounted on the tailgate, im really digging the look of it. Because the parts will differ from the under mounted and tailgate mounted models, it looks like will have to find a rear bumper, tailgate assembly, and rear windshield to make it look factory. My worry is that the original hinges wont be able to hold the weight of the new tailgate with the spare wheel mounted on it. Is this something that is possible to do? Is there anything that i might be missing?
