1997 4x4 cv axle replacement issue?
 

I did a passenger side front cv axle :confused replacement using mark kings 4 part series on the topic. I noticed after putting it all back together, the axle will not rotate. Checked the wheel bearings and caliper and they aren't the issue. Only thing I can think of is the splines are not lining up for some reason. Other side still rotates. Anyone have any ideas? Only thing I can do is to take it all apart and try to figure out what's wrong? :confused:

Well, took it all apart and cv axle rotates. Started to put back together and noticed it stopped turning when I tightened the lower ball joint nut. Backed it off and placed the cotter pin in there and put it all back together. Not sure why that would happen. Never had this on other axles I've replaced. Fysa
