Could someone provide me with an explanation of what is entailed in separating the cluster and main gear shaft assembly from the Transfer case ?
I have removed the transmission/bellhousing case from the gear assembly/transfercase unit. The teeth are striped from the input gear and the cluster that it runs on. It appears that the yoke on the rear output of the transfer case must be removed.

Can somone also attach a link to another forum which might explain the sequence ? thank you

My Haynes service manual does not cover dissassembly of transmission and transfer case units.

Does one of the members have a Link to an Adobe PDF file of the sequence ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
