Hi,

I have to repair my Exhaust System on my Rodeo, everything but the catalytic converter. I priced it today and the mechanic said it was going to cost $882.34 to replace the entire exhaust system. Has anyone got the exhaust system replaced on their Rodeo? Is this too much for an exhaust system?

Thanks

Depends on if thats for using factory parts.

I had mine replaced a meineke for about $550 with a flowmaster 50 series muffler and 2.25" pipe. But they didnt do the y-pipe. Was only from the y-pipe back. The 50 series muffler sounds much better to me, gives it some sound but isnt loud like a ricer.

One of my buddies got his replaced including the y-pipe with a different muffler for around $300 at a local muffler and brake shop.

Shop around and you can probably find someone to do it cheaper. I feel I got ripped off by meineke considering what some other ppl paid for theirs and had more done.

Get a high flow muffler and 2.25" or 2.5" pipe to gain a bit more power if you dont mind it having some sound. Also make sure they are using stainless steel pipe which will last alot longer.

Thanks!!

Thats where I went, andthe mechanicwas saying the same thing about the flowmaster pipes but at $882.34. I thinkat the price he was asking, I could get dual exhaust with the replacement.

Thanksalot for replying, I will shop around for the better buy. <
