04 Rodeo 3.5l DI engine swap

Blew mine up and the 3.5l DI engine is exspensive and i was wondering if I could swap it with the 3.2 ???? The cost is what im tryin to avoid

3.5l DI start @ 2k with over 100kmiles
3.2l start @ 600 with same milage

Could be worth looking at salvaged vehicles on the cheap and then just taking the engine. The car could be kept for spares after or just sold off :P
