I have a 2000 Rodeo. Recently while driving down the highway above 55 mph there is a whisle type noise that goes over the top. I have looked and can not see anything lose that would cause air create such a noise. It feels like it is on the roof but I might be wrong. Has anyone had this happen?

been trying to answer this for a while.. keep getting site errors.

try moving the roof rack rails all the way back. if that doesnt work try pushing on the windshield and headliner while its making the noise to narrow down where the problem is.

a guy at work has the same year and the same problem, its one of those.Edited by: Gizmo42

Thanks for the reply. It was the windshield. When I got your response I started thinking and I recall the noise started after I had a new windshield installed. When I drive and it starts I can push on the top of the window and it will stop. Should I have it refitted?

I would check the trim around the windshield and make sure its all fitted the way it should be. If thats ok, then take it back with the receipt and tell them whats happening and they should fix it for free.
