I live in Saint Augustine Florida (about halfway between St. Aug. and Jacksonville). I am seeking a repair shop that does good engine work.

I have a 97 Rodeo that has intermittent idle problems (revs up/cuts off). Based on what I see on the message boards this type of problem appears to be pretty common but the solution could be one or several things.

I have tried the local dealership, I would rather take it to a "mom and pop" repair shop where someone with more experience/troubleshooting ability with this specific problem can work on it.

Just asking again if anyone knows of someone in my area that has enough experience to properly diagnose and correct my issue. The local dealership here either doesn't have the experience or is trying to get me to "fix everything" to get this problem solved.
