Hello everyone I have a 1991 Isuzu Impulse RS - AWD/Intercooled/Turbo for sale in Knoxville, TN. It is in excellent condition and full running order. It has approx. 110,000 miles, however the engine, transmission, and suspension were replaced or rebuilt by a professional shop and have less than 10,000 miles on them. The engine was a re-man'ed engine bought and shipped from Isuzu Japan. The transmission I had rebuilt after the planetary gears ate themselves. It was rebuilt using the existing tranny and another tranny that I bought and had shipped from a bone-yard TX. It cost me a pretty penny to have this done and the transmission is stronger than ever. As far as the suspension is concerned it is perfect having been re-built just before I bought the car. It has a new top of the line dual-friction ZOOM clutch that was purchased through my local Advance Auto Parts store. The Turbo was replacedat the same timeas the engine and was custom built by a local turbo shop. Theturbo has been properly maintained andworks like new. As to any known mechanical problems with the car I believe that one of the carrier bearings in the 3-piece rear drive-shaft is going out and would recommend having it looked at (the local Isuzu dealer should still have this bearing here, b/c I ordered it a few years ago and it was approx $50). The car is in full-running condition and is driveable with good tires.


As for the body of the car it is excellent having been cherried out and repainted. This car only had minor dents and dings and has not been wrecked. We took the wholebody down to the metal and restored it properly. It was then re-painted the original color of the car BLACK. It looks sick!!!


I am only asking $4000 o.b.o because I have a few other project cars I'm working on. I'm hoping to find someone who will love this car as much as I do. There are a few other things I haven't got to tell you all,like I just installed a new Turbo-performance muffler and a brand-new windshield. Also the sunfoor works but the rubber seal for it has shrank in the sun and closing it requires minor work (does not leak). The top of the dash has a few cracks in the vinyl but is nothing serious and could be replaced. Any other questions I will try to answer quickly and to the best of my knowledge.
