1989 Trooper- Parting out

Parting out a 89 Trooper. Very rusty underneath but has a lot of parts that are usable. Has 105,000 miles on it, but the engine was replaced with a reman long block and does not have over 1000 miles on it. It has been sitting for 11 years, and has not run in that time. If there is interest, I will see if the engine still turns over and ultimately attempt to get it running again. I am located in Ohio, just west of Akron.

I do not see anything that looks as you described. This is a 4 cyl gas engine.

I will be shipping this one out in a couple of weeks and once it's gone, it's gone forever. I hate to see the goodies go to the crusher, but can't keep it around forever. If anyone needs anything off this Trooper now is the time to speak up.

Do you still have the engine, and rear differential? If you do and can afford to be easy on the price I'm interested but I'm a disabled vet and will have to send you extra cash for shipping to new england.

If you do want to sell this stuff please pull the plugs and shoot a healthy amount of marvel mystery oil into the cylinders and wait a day or two before trying to turn it over (this will improve the chances of not breaking any rings).
Then try to roll it by hand for several revolutions and add more mystery oil. Thanks I hope we can put this together money for you and an affordable engine and rear end for me. I'm rebuilding an 1986 Trooper 2 and the engine is shaky.
The rear end is because the '86 weak (by design) and nobody even makes a locker for it.

I oiled the cylinders last week and turned the engine over by hand. It turned very nicely for several turns. I have no reason to doubt this engine is in very good condition. I have the entire vehicle here including the rear end. According to information I have received, it is an open diff. This vehicle has always been gently driven, and probably the only time it was ever driven off-road was when I put the new engine in and test drove it up and down a few embankments at a construction site. Contact me privately to discuss this further, and thanks for your interest and above all your service to our country!.
