I have a 00' Rodeo LS 4x4 I am looking to sell for parts. I have the title, but never got it transferred due to idiotic IA law. The mileage was wrote wrong when it was transferred through dealerships so IA requires a new duplicate title to be reissued to and requested by the original owner who I could never locate. This is only on 00' and newer vehicles, my 94 Bronco they couldn't give a crap about and doesn't even have mileage on the title. The engine runs great(20mpg on highway), but the exhaust flex pipe has rotted out. It has 152k on it and I replaced the intake gaskets at 140k. 4wheel drive works, but the front cv shafts click when turning. The body is rough, both front corners are damaged, the thing went through a hail storm, the starter is going out and is intermittently clicks or doesn't engage. I replaced the battery this fall thinking that was the problem, but still have the same problem. The fuel level sending unit went out so gas gauge reads full for about 30 miles than drops to E. The interior is in good shape except for a hole in the carpet under gas pedal and the head liner is sagging.
I'm listing everything I can think of that's going on with it. Figure it's a good replacement engine or a surplus of parts to build an off road rig for whoever wants it. I live in Cedar Rapids, IA. I just bought a new car and don't need this sitting around anymore.
The engines are going for $800 and up on ebay. I'd be happy with that for the whole thing. I will not part this out and have it sitting around. If interested you can email me at jrbracing79@yahoo.com
