I'm trying to adjust the valves on my truck (2.3) and the info. that I'm getting does not match the reality of what I'm seeing. The Haynes manual says that after setting the timing to tdc adjust #1 and 2 intake and #1 and three exhaust. Well, on my engine the #2 int. and the #3 exhaust valve springs are slightly compressed and not loose so as to be able to adjust them. Does anyone have the factory manual for this truck?
